How to Use the Metronome
Basic Controls
- Click "Start" to begin the metronome
- Use the number input to set your desired BPM (40-220)

The "+" and "-" buttons adjust the number of beats per measure
- Click "Stop" to halt the metronome
Understanding Subdivisions

1/4 (Quarter Notes): Basic beat, one click per
beat
- 1/8 (Eighth Notes): Two clicks per beat

1/8T (Eighth Triplets): Three clicks per beat

1/16 (Sixteenth Notes): Four clicks per beat

1/16T (Sixteenth Triplets): Six clicks per beat

1/32 (Thirty-Second Notes): Eight clicks per beat

1/32T (Thirty-Second Triplets): Twelve clicks per
beat

Swing: Eighth notes with swing feel (delayed
second eighth note)
Visual Feedback
- Main beats are indicated by stronger flashes and sounds
- Subdivision beats have lighter flashes and softer sounds
- The beat counter shows your current position in the measure
- Different colors indicate different beats in the measure

Start with slower tempos when practicing complex subdivisions
- Use visual feedback to help internalize the rhythm

Practice switching between subdivisions to build rhythmic
flexibility
- For swing feel, focus on the uneven spacing between beats
